About the Role:
We are looking for a Distribution Center (DC) Manager to lead operations at our 100,000 sq. ft. grocery warehouse in Shamshabad. The role involves complete ownership of warehouse operations including inbound, outbound, inventory, manpower, and process control. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in managing large-scale grocery or FMCG warehouses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations including inbound, storage, order processing, and dispatch.
- Manage a team of warehouse staff, supervisors, and leads across shifts.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and timely reconciliation of stock.
- Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, and compliance at the warehouse.
- Optimize space utilization, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with transport and supply chain teams for smooth order fulfillment.
- Track daily KPIs and ensure adherence to SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency.
- Manage vendor relationships, local logistics partners, and manpower agencies.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
- 6–10 years of experience in warehouse or distribution management.
- Prior experience in FMCG or grocery warehouse operations is a must.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Hands-on experience with WMS / ERP systems.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety, audits, and compliance requirements.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Excel and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
