Position Overview
The
Regional Sales Manager (RSM)
will lead corporate gifting, modern trade, and institutional sales initiatives within the Bangalore region. This role requires strong relationship-building abilities, strategic sales planning, and a proven track record in driving revenue growth. The RSM will collaborate closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to strengthen Loyka's presence in key corporate and retail segments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Relationship Management
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key corporate and institutional clients.
- Understand client requirements, seasonal demand cycles, and gifting preferences to deliver tailored solutions.
- Act as the primary liaison for major accounts, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
2. Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve business targets.
- Identify and acquire new corporate, institutional, and modern trade clients.
- Deliver persuasive product presentations, proposals, and sales pitches.
- Lead negotiations and close high-value deals while maintaining profit margins.
3. Modern Trade & Institutional Sales Management
- Manage and expand relationships with modern trade channels, distributors, and retail partners.
- Increase product visibility, placement, and performance across MT outlets.
- Execute promotions, sampling initiatives, and visibility plans to strengthen brand presence.
4. Marketing & Promotion
- Work with the marketing team to develop and implement campaigns targeted at large enterprises.
- Represent Loyka at trade shows, industry events, and networking forums in the region.
- Enhance brand awareness and reinforce Loyka's position in the corporate gifting industry.
5. Reporting & Analysis
- Monitor sales achievements, pipeline status, and regional KPIs; prepare monthly and quarterly reports.
- Analyze customer insights, market trends, and competitor activities to guide strategic decisions.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve products, pricing, and customer experiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 8
years of experience
in corporate gifting, modern trade, institutional sales, FMCG, or related categories. - Strong understanding of the corporate gifting landscape and emerging industry trends.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM platforms.
Preferred Skills
- Creative thinker with strong attention to detail, especially for gifting concepts and product bundling.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to identify new business avenues.
- Experience in FMCG, confectionery, retail, or e-commerce is a plus.
- Exceptional relationship-building and client-handling capabilities.
