MCAD Engineer- NX/Solid Works

  • Design Mechanical Components, systems, products using CAD Softwares like Unigraphics (UG-NX).
  • Create detailed technical drawings, specifications and 3D Models.
  • Conduct feasibility studies including material selections, cost estimation etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design alignment with project requirements

Essential Skills:

  • Good engineering fundamental knowledge
  • Good knowledge on drawing Standards (ISO, ANSI/ASME)
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience on Unigraphics (UG-NX).
  • Hands on experience on Sheet metal & Plastic design.
  • Good knowledge on any PLM, preferably Teamcenter.
  • Product development and engineering change management process knowledge.
  • Capability to understand/ apply GD&T and Tolerance Stack-up analysis
  • Able to work on global product development projects independently.
  • Able to manage his/her deliverables and clearly communicate with client
  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge on various manufacturing processes like injection molding, sheet metal stamping, castings, and forgings.
  • Experience in design/development of Plastic and sheet metal components
  • Good planning, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and highly organized
