Director – Strategic Initiatives
Job Summary / Overview:
This role leads the design, execution, and ongoing refinement of enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, reporting directly to the COO. Partnering with executive leadership, and by combining financial acumen, analytical rigor, and change leadership, it translates the company's vision into actionable strategies that drive sustainable growth. The role champions transformation programs, optimizes operations, and embeds strategic priorities across functions through strong cross-functional collaboration. Acting as a key change leader, it aligns people, processes, and technology to deliver measurable impact and ensures long-term execution of organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess major strategic initiatives and investments for financial viability, strategic alignment, and operational impact, using ROI modeling, cost-benefit analysis, and risk assessments to guide decision-making.
- Develop compelling, data-driven business cases that link financial insights to growth and operational outcomes.
- Design and implement KPI frameworks across non-revenue functions (especially Operations) to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
- Track enterprise performance and use analytics to recommend refinements to the operating model.
- Collaborate closely with revenue-generating units to analyze topline performance, profitability trends, and resource allocation, translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Integrate external market intelligence and competitive benchmarking to inform strategic planning and innovation.
- Lead the design of shared services frameworks and internal pricing models, promoting transparency and accountability within support functions.
- Drive the execution of cross-functional transformation programs, leading stakeholder engagement, communications, and change management to ensure adoption and impact.
- Provide senior leadership with progress reports, actionable insights, and recommendations to bridge strategy and execution effectively.
Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Business, Finance, Strategy, or a related field.
- 10–12 years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or financial leadership roles, preferably within professional services or complex enterprises.
Skills:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling abilities to influence executive decision-making.
- Experience managing complex, high-impact projects across multiple functions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of securing buy-in at the executive and board levels.
- Ability to partner across business units to execute enterprise initiatives successfully.
- Expertise in financial modeling, investment analysis, and strategic planning.
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
- Proficient at integrating market insights, competitive intelligence, and financial data into enterprise strategy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Manager – Strategic Initiatives
Job Summary / Overview:
This role supports the design and day-to-day execution of enterprise initiatives under the guidance of the Director. Working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, it translates strategic priorities into practical action plans and monitors progress against defined goals. The position helps drive transformation programs, improves operational processes, and coordinates activities across functions to ensure alignment with company objectives. It plays a hands-on role in managing timelines, tracking performance, solving roadblocks, and supporting change efforts so that people, processes, and technology deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate initiatives and investments to ensure they meet financial, operational, and strategic criteria, maintaining ROI models, cost-benefit, and risk analyses to support leadership decisions.
- Develop, implement, and monitor KPI frameworks and internal benchmarks, collaborating with teams to address performance gaps and improve processes.
- Collect and analyze operational and financial data to generate actionable insights supporting pricing, growth strategies, and day-to-day business decisions.
- Facilitate the design and implementation of shared services and centralized operating models by working with stakeholders to define governance, service delivery, and performance metrics.
- Build business cases and roadmaps for shared services implementation.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to maintain a strategic intelligence repository for leadership.
- Drive execution of transformation programs, coordinating cross-functional teams and supporting structured change management efforts.
Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Business, Finance, Strategy, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of experience in strategy or operations roles, preferably in professional services or complex enterprise environments.
Skills:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling skills to influence leadership decisions.
- Skilled at managing complex, high-impact projects across multiple teams.
- Effective communicator with experience presenting to senior executives and boards.
- Ability to collaborate across business units to execute enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Proficient in financial modeling, investment analysis, and strategic planning.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Competent in integrating market insights and competitive intelligence with financial data to support strategy.
