As a part of the legal department at Access Healthcare, the individual shall be responsible for

providing legal advice on a wide range of issues relating to Revenue Cycle Management in Healthcare

Industry, primarily having extensive knowledge and exposure to deal governance, drafting, reviewing,

and negotiating various types of contractual documents with customers, advising HR on employee

matters etc.

Roles And Responsibilities:


• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide variety of contracts: vendor, customer,

licensing, partnerships, NDA, service agreements, etc.


• Responding to RFPs and reviewing preliminary terms and conditions of MSAs/BAA during RFP

stage.


• Ensure corporate governance practices are adhered to according to statutory requirements.


• Manage all litigation and dispute matters involving the company. Liaise with external counsel;

strategize and monitor progress.


• Advise on employment law matters, employee relations, disciplinary actions, workplace

policies, terminations, etc.


• Ensure HR policies are in compliance with local labour laws, POSH (Prevention of Sexual

Harassment) regulations, other statutory labour regulations.


• Work closely with cross-functional teams: Finance, HR, Operations, Sales, Procurement,

Compliance etc.


• Conduct legal awareness sessions and training for employees.


• Establish and maintain constructive relationships with local regulatory bodies, government

departments, law enforcement agencies, and statutory authorities in Chennai.


• Manage all litigation and dispute matters involving the company. Liaise with external counsel;

strategize and monitor progress.

Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Law

Experience: years of experience as a Corporate Legal Counsel

Other Skills and Abilities:


• Firm understanding of Indian laws: corporate law, contract law, labour laws, regulatory

compliance etc.


• Strong written/verbal communication with a keen attention to detail, strong negotiation,

and influencer skills.


• Expertise in working on Microsoft Tool (Word, PPT and Excel).


• Flexible with shift hours.


• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments, activities and meeting deadlines

constantly.
