Position Overview

  • The 
    Quality Manager

will be responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining the 
Quality Management System (QMS)

aligned with 
QAI Accreditation Standards for Home Healthcare

.
- The role involves designing quality frameworks, auditing compliance, training teams, and ensuring continual improvement in patient care, documentation, and service delivery across all units.
- Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Quality System Development & Accreditation
- Establish, document, and maintain the Quality Management System in line with QAI standards.
- Lead the organization through the 
QAI Accreditation process

— from gap analysis, documentation, and staff orientation to internal audits and mock assessments.
- Ensure all departments (Clinical, Nursing, Operations, HR, and Administration) follow standardized procedures and policies.
- Process Standardization & SOP Implementation
- Develop and periodically update 
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

for all homecare services, including doctor visits, nursing, wound care, telemedicine, and patient documentation.
- Monitor adherence to SOPs through regular field visits, audits, and performance reviews.
- Internal Audits & Corrective Actions
- Plan and conduct internal audits and risk assessments across service units and community clinics.
- Identify non-conformities, design corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA), and ensure timely closure.
- Maintain QAI-related documentation and quality dashboards.
- Training & Capacity Building
- Conduct induction and periodic 
quality training sessions

for healthcare professionals, including nurses, caretakers, and administrative staff.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and patient safety.
- Collaborate with the HR department for skill competency evaluations.
- Patient Safety & Feedback Monitoring
- Design and implement patient safety indicators, infection control checklists, and adverse event reporting systems.
- Coordinate patient feedback collection and analysis to drive improvement initiatives.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to management.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and updated quality manuals, policies, and audit reports as per QAI requirements.
- Present periodic 
Quality Review Reports

to senior management, highlighting trends, achievements, and areas of improvement.
- Key Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of 
QAI Home Healthcare Accreditation Standards

or equivalent (NABH/NABH-Entry Level/QCI).
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare quality systems, process documentation, and audit management.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and training skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and quality documentation tools.
- Empathy, leadership, and team collaboration across clinical and administrative units.
- Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing, Hospital Administration, or Healthcare Management.
- Preferred: Certification in 
Healthcare Quality (e.g., CPHQ, QMS, or QAI Assessor Training).
- Experience
- Minimum 
3–5 years of experience

in Quality Management in Hospitals, Home Healthcare, or related healthcare services.
- Experience in 
QAI/NABH implementation

is highly desirable.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of QAI Accreditation Milestones within defined timelines.
- % Compliance in Internal Quality Audits.
- Number of SOPs implemented and updated quarterly.
- Patient satisfaction score and feedback resolution time.
- % of staff trained and certified in quality standards.
