Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager with strong exposure to heavy automotive component manufacturing such as forgings, castings, machined, and chassis parts. The role involves leading the quality function, ensuring adherence to IATF 16949 standards, driving continual improvement, and ensuring zero-defect supplies to OEM and Tier-1 customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead overall plant quality activities including in-process, supplier, and customer quality.
  • Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Handle APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC documentation and reviews.
  • Conduct internal audits and coordinate customer audits.
  • Lead problem-solving using 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and CAPA methodologies.
  • Monitor customer complaints, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
  • Work closely with production, design, and suppliers to improve quality performance.
  • Develop and train quality engineers and inspectors to maintain robust quality systems.

Key Skills Required:

  • IATF 16949, PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D, CAPA
  • Exposure to forging, casting, machining, chassis, or suspension parts manufacturing
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and audit handling skills
  • Hands-on experience in OEM / Tier-1 automotive environment
  • Good communication and leadership skills
