Primary Job Responsibilities

1. Client Acquisition and Onboarding

  • Identify and acquire new clients for equity trading and investment services.
  • Build a strong network to generate leads and convert prospects into clients.
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding for new clients, ensuring all documentation and KYC compliance are completed efficiently.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with retail and high-net-worth (HNI) clients.
  • Understand clients' financial goals, risk appetite, and investment needs to provide customized equity market solutions.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews and suggest adjustments based on market movements and client objectives.

3. Equity Market Advisory and Execution

  • Provide clients with expert advice on equity investments, market trends, and trading strategies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of buy/sell orders and communicate market updates proactively.
  • Recommend additional financial products such as mutual funds, bonds, and derivatives to diversify portfolios.

4. Revenue Generation

  • Achieve individual revenue targets through equity broking, value-added schemes, and third-party product sales.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling across financial products and services.
  • Drive client engagement and activity to meet brokerage revenue goals.

5. Market Awareness and Research

  • Stay abreast of equity market developments, macroeconomic trends, and corporate actions.
  • Share timely insights with clients to help them make informed investment decisions.
  • Provide inputs for internal market reports and support the development of investment strategies.

6. Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure all transactions comply with SEBI, NSE, and BSE regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and trades for audit purposes.
  • Educate clients about market risks and promote responsible investing within their risk profiles.

Academic Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, or Economics.
  • NISM certification preferred.

Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in equity markets, wealth management, or a similar role.
  • Team handling experience: Not applicable

  • Customer-focused with a consultative sales approach.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
  • High attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Proactive in identifying client needs and new market opportunities.

Skills Required

  3. Ability to analyze market trends and provide actionable investment insights.
