Role Description

Role Description:

As a Software Engineer - Automation Testing - DataCom (Networking , L2-L3, L4-L7 Protocols) at Incedo, you will be responsible for designing and executing automated test cases and scripts for network protocols at different layers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects and provide recommendations for improvements to the development team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

•    Design and develop automation testing solutions for DataCom networks, including Layer 2, Layer 3, and Layer 4-7 protocols.

•    Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.

•    Configure and deploy automation testing solutions, and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.

•    Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides and training materials.

•    Stay up-to-date with the latest automation testing tools and techniques for DataCom networks, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Technical Skills

Skills Requirements:


•    Strong understanding of testing methodologies and automation frameworks.

•    Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, and Shell.

•    Expertise in network protocols and network testing tools.

•    Experience in automation testing of networking products.

•    Must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

•    Must understand the company's long-term vision and align with it.

Nice-to-have skills Qualifications

Qualifications

•    B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech or MCA degree from a reputed university. Computer science background is preferred
