About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate
QA Engineer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications through manual and automated testing. You will work closely with the development team to identify, reproduce, and resolve bugs, ensuring a smooth and flawless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute
    manual and automated test cases
    .
  • Perform
    functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
    .
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like
    JIRA, Bugzilla
    , or similar.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback.
  • Ensure applications meet
    quality standards
    and comply with company guidelines.
  • Create and maintain
    test documentation
    , including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Participate in
    daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings
    .
  • Continuously enhance testing processes and improve automation coverage.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a
    QA Engineer, QA Tester, or similar role
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
    .
  • Experience in
    manual testing
    and exposure to
    automation frameworks
    (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Familiarity with
    API testing tools
    like Postman or RestAssured.
  • Hands-on experience with
    SQL
    and basic database validation.
  • Good understanding of
    SDLC and Agile methodologies
    .
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Knowledge of
    CI/CD tools
    (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Experience with
    performance testing tools
    like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Exposure to
    cloud platforms
    (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • ISTQB Certification or similar QA certification.
