Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer In Test Automation at a mid-level position. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire role based in Gurgaon, Delhi, or Noida. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in test automation, with expertise in handling tools and frameworks efficiently to enhance software quality and reliability.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in Selenium, ensuring the ability to automate browser-based testing efficiently (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong command of Java to develop test scripts and integrate with testing frameworks (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience with Cucumber for Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) to ensure clear communication among teams (Mandatory skill).
  • Working knowledge of Python to leverage scripting capabilities for diverse testing needs.
  • Familiarity with JIRA for bug tracking and project management, facilitating smooth communication and task management.
  • Experience using TestNG framework for executing multiple test cases and generating reports effectively.
  • Competence in Jenkins to automate and manage continuous testing processes, ensuring timely feedback on quality.
  • Hands-on experience with API Testing to validate the functionality and reliability of web services and APIs.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure software quality across various platforms.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand application features and create robust test plans.
  • Utilize Selenium, Java, and Cucumber to create and manage automated test suites effectively.
  • Employ Python and other tools to broaden the scope of test automation and increase test coverage.
  • Monitor and analyze test outcomes, providing timely feedback to development teams for continuous improvement.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA, coordinating with teams for resolution.
  • Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices using Jenkins to streamline testing processes.
  • Ensure adequate test environments and manage test data required for comprehensive test coverage.
