Job Description:

BE MECH / DIPLOMA MECH with 5 year or more of experience in Vendor development / Sourcing .

In depth knowledge of process of manufactured items ( i.e., machining , laser cutting & fabrication ).

Should possess sound knowledge of BOP items & its sources.

Knowledge of costing & zero-based costing.

Well versed with software & excel.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.High attention to detail.Ability to make quick decisions.Organizational skills.Written and verbal communication skills.Customer service skills.Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.Ability to work independently.The procurement department or expeditor controls the progress of manufacturing at the supplier concerning quality, packing, conformity with standards and set timelines. Thus the expeditor makes sure that the required goods arrive at the appointed date in the agreed quality at the agreed location.
