Role overview:

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager with a strong background in the physical and chemical analysis of steel long products (Structural / TMT). The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining product quality, ensuring compliance with specifications, and working closely with the production team to monitor and control sections during manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct physical and chemical testing of steel long products (TMT / Structural).
  • Operate and interpret results from spectrograph and UTM (Universal Testing Machine).
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure section control and adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain quality documentation and ensure compliance with testing and certification requirements.
  • Coordinate with BIS, ISO etc. for all Certifications.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Qualification: B.Sc. (Chemistry) or B.E. (Metallurgy).
  • Experience: 10 to 15 years in quality assurance, preferably in steel long products.
  • Candidates with no steel experience who demonstrate strong learning ability in TMT physical and chemical testing are also encouraged to apply.
  • Hands-on experience with spectrograph and UTM testing is essential.
