Key Responsibilities:1. Maintenance Planning & Execution:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance programs for mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Ensure timely execution of all maintenance activities to minimize plant downtime.
  • Prioritize maintenance work based on production schedules and equipment criticality.
  • Plan shutdowns/overhauls efficiently, coordinating with other departments.

2. Equipment Management:

  • Supervise installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment like pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, conveyors, agitators, and rotary equipment.
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend upgrades or modifications to improve efficiency.
  • Implement condition monitoring programs (vibration analysis, thermography, lubrication management).

3. Team Leadership & Supervision:

  • Lead a team of mechanical engineers, technicians, and supervisors.
  • Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to maintenance schedules.
  • Conduct performance reviews, training, and skill development programs for the team.

4. Safety & Compliance:

  • Ensure all mechanical maintenance activities comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective measures for mechanical hazards.
  • Promote a culture of safety awareness among the maintenance team.

5. Budgeting & Inventory Management:

  • Prepare and manage maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Control spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of critical components without overstocking.
  • Liaise with vendors for procurement of mechanical spares, tools, and services.

6. Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify root causes of recurring mechanical failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and total productive maintenance (TPM) strategies.
  • Use data analysis and KPIs to drive efficiency improvements and reduce breakdowns.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45, ₹65,000.00 per month
