Automobile Engineer(Mintenance/Heavy Vehicles/JCB/PAYLOADER)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance & Repair:

• Plan, supervise, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems in vehicles.
• Repair or replace defective parts, engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and other systems.
• Ensure timely servicing and adherence to manufacturer guidelines.

2. Fleet Management Support:

• Monitor vehicle performance and recommend upgrades or replacements.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service reports, and spare parts inventory.
• Coordinate with drivers and fleet supervisors for scheduled maintenance.

3. Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards, road regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and recommend corrective actions.
• Train drivers on basic vehicle checks and preventive care practices.

4. Process Improvement:

• Identify recurring issues and propose long-term solutions to reduce downtime.
• Optimize maintenance schedules to improve fleet efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Evaluate and suggest new technologies, tools, or equipment for maintenance operations.

5. Team Coordination:

• Supervise junior technicians and mechanics.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to the maintenance team.
• Liaise with external service providers for specialized repairs or overhauls.
