Lab Assistant(Chemical/Fertilizer Industry)

Key Responsibilities:
- Sample Handling & Testing:
- Receive, label, and organize raw material, in-process, and finished product samples.
- Assist in conducting chemical, physical, and fertilizer analysis under the guidance of chemists.
- Record test results accurately in lab logs or software systems.
- Laboratory Maintenance:
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain laboratory equipment and glassware.
- Ensure reagents, chemicals, and consumables are stocked and properly stored.
- Calibrate laboratory instruments and assist in routine maintenance.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols at all times.
- Handle hazardous chemicals safely and dispose of waste as per regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain lab hygiene and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare daily/weekly reports of lab activities and test results.
- Assist in maintaining records for audits and inspections.
- Support chemists and quality control team in data analysis and report preparation.
- Support Activities:
- Assist in experiments, pilot trials, and quality control procedures.
- Help senior staff with procurement of lab chemicals and supplies.
- Participate in training sessions and skill development programs.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
