The Technical Release Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing software releases into production environments. This role ensures smooth deployments, compliance with governance standards, and minimal disruption to business operations. The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with project management expertise and experience in telecom environments.

  • Release Planning & Execution
  • Develop and maintain release calendars for production environments.
  • Coordinate multi-phase deployments across development, QA, and production.
  • Ensure compliance with change management and governance policies.
  • Production Support
  • Oversee hypercare and post-release support activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues promptly.
  • Project Management
  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle for release initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, operations).
  • Track progress, manage risks, and report on KPIs.
  • Stakeholder Communication
  • Interface with internal/external customers, suppliers, and senior management.
  • Facilitate CAB (Change Advisory Board) meetings for approvals.
  • Tools
  • Proficiency in Jira, ServiceNow, and release automation tools.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management.
