Assistant Teacher Job Responsibilities

  • Classroom Support – Assist the lead teacher in delivering lessons, managing classroom activities, and maintaining discipline.
  • Student Assistance – Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help with lessons or assignments.
  • Lesson Preparation – Help in preparing teaching materials, visual aids, and classroom resources.
  • Grading & Evaluation Support – Assist in checking homework, tests, and maintaining student performance records.
  • Supervision Duties – Supervise students during recess, lunch, field trips, and other school activities to ensure safety and proper behavior.
  • Classroom Organization – Help keep the classroom clean, organized, and conducive to learning.
  • Communication & Collaboration – Work closely with the lead teacher and school staff, and communicate with parents when required.
