About the Role:

HostBooks Limited is seeking an experienced and results-driven
Chief Sales Officer (CSO)
to lead and expand our sales organization. This leadership role requires a strategic sales executive with over 15 years of demonstrated success driving ERP sales, particularly within the manufacturing sector.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background from a reputed B-school and be adept at building high-performance sales teams, developing strategic sales plans, and executing growth initiatives that align with business goals. As CSO, you will be responsible for scaling sales operations, managing key client relationships, and delivering consistent revenue growth in a competitive and dynamic market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all sales functions, including direct sales, channel sales, and strategic account management.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies focused on ERP solutions for the manufacturing industry.
  • Build, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team with clear accountability and ownership.
  • Drive pipeline development, sales forecasting, and accurate reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Establish strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to maximize growth opportunities.
  • Utilize market insights and data analytics to refine sales approaches and improve conversion rates.
  • Ensure achievement of sales targets while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction and retention.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 15+ years of leadership experience in ERP or enterprise software sales, preferably with a focus on the manufacturing sector.
  • Proven track record of building and leading successful sales teams and delivering consistent revenue growth.
  • MBA/PGDM from a reputed B-school is mandatory.
  • Strong strategic thinker with the ability to create and execute sales plans across multiple markets and segments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Data-driven and customer-focused, passionate about driving measurable sales outcomes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment.
