About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Chartered Accountant specializing in Direct Taxation to lead and manage all direct tax-related matters for the organization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Corporate Tax, Income Tax, Tax Planning, Assessments, Litigation, and Compliance, with the ability to provide strategic tax advisory support to management.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct Tax Compliance:

  • Manage and review corporate income tax returns, TDS compliance, and advance tax calculations.

  • Ensure timely filing of all direct tax-related returns and forms.

  • Oversee preparation and review of tax audit reports (Form 3CD).

Tax Planning & Advisory:

  • Provide strategic tax planning to optimize tax liability.

  • Advise business teams on various tax implications of transactions.

  • Evaluate and implement tax-saving strategies in compliance with law.

Assessments & Litigation:

  • Represent the company during income tax assessments, appeals, and hearings.

  • Coordinate with external consultants, counsels, and tax authorities.

  • Prepare documentation and responses for scrutiny assessments.

Internal Controls & Audit Support:

  • Ensure strong internal controls for all tax processes.

  • Support statutory audit, internal audit, and tax audit requirements.

  • Review books of accounts from a taxation perspective.

Advisory on New Tax Developments:

  • Keep updated on amendments in Income Tax Act, CBDT circulars, Finance Act changes, and judicial rulings.

  • Advise management on potential impact and necessary actions.

Key Skills Required:

  • In-depth knowledge of Direct Tax laws, corporate taxation & accounting standards.

  • Strong understanding of tax assessments, appeals, audits, and compliance processes.

  • Excellent analytical, research, and drafting skills.

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management & leadership skills.

  • Proficiency in tax tools and ERP systems (SAP/Tally preferred).

Preferred Background:

  • Expiriance 10 plus years

  • Should be CA

  • Experience working in manufacturing / industrial / large corporate setups.

  • Exposure to cross-border taxation and transfer pricing (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Proven track record of handling tax litigation and assessments independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,500, ₹1,800,000.00 per month
