Job Summary:

The HVAC Sales Engineer will be responsible for promoting and selling HVAC products and solutions to new and existing clients. This role involves understanding customer requirements, preparing technical proposals, and ensuring successful project acquisition through effective communication and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for HVAC products and services.

  • Generate inquiries, prepare quotations, and follow up for order finalization.

  • Conduct site visits and client meetings to understand technical and commercial requirements.

  • Prepare and present technical proposals and system solutions to clients, consultants, and contractors.

  • Coordinate with design, estimation, and project execution teams for smooth handover after order confirmation.

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as defined by management.

  • Maintain relationships with key clients and consultants for repeat business.

  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and new product developments.

  • Provide feedback and market intelligence to management for business planning.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in HVAC sales, preferably with contracting or equipment companies.

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC systems (Chillers, AHUs, VRF, Ductable Units, etc.).

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic AutoCAD knowledge (preferred).

  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused.
