Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Shipping Executive – RTO (Return to Origin) to manage and resolve product returns, failed deliveries, and RTOs efficiently. This role is essential to improving our logistics flow and ensuring a seamless customer experience, while reducing operational losses due to returns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily RTO reports from courier partners (Shiprocket, Delhivery, Bluedart, etc.).
  • Investigate reasons for failed deliveries and coordinate with customer support to confirm address or customer availability.
  • Take timely actions to prevent RTOs, including customer calls for delivery confirmation and address validation.
  • Ensure smooth processing of returned products—quality check, restocking, or initiating reverse logistics as needed.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams for inventory updates on returned items.
  • Work closely with the shipping and customer service teams to minimize RTO percentage.
  • Analyze trends and prepare weekly reports on RTO performance and resolution status.
  • Follow up on refunds or replacements in case of damaged/defective returned items.
  • Liaise with courier partners for claim settlements or escalations related to RTO/damaged shipments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate in any discipline; logistics or supply chain background preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in e-commerce shipping operations, preferably in D2C or FMCG sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of courier portals (Shiprocket, Nimbus, etc.) and tracking systems.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and handle high-volume operations.
  • Attention to detail and process orientation.
