Key FocusThe primary focus of this role is to ensure material availability as per planning and control on inventories.Basically, overseeing end-to-end logistics, managing supplier coordination, planning deliveries and transport logistics, and ensuring efficient tracking and storage of materials across project sites.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities: Coordinate and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of orderedmaterials. Plan logistics for deliveries including optimal routing, cost estimation,transport arrangements,and storage planning at large project sites. Share delivery trackers with internal teams and customers regularly. Maintain accurate logistics documentation and records in Excel and SAP. Manage waybills and interact with transport companies for dispatches andtracking. Support multiple projects with timely logistics support and coordination. Travel to project sites (7–15 days/month if required) for on-ground logisticssupervision. Ensuring the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the purchasing process ofthe organisation. Ensure timely analysis and action on Slow/ Non-Movers. Co-ordinate with Transport for material movement. Maintaining positive supplier relations, evaluating supply options, andmaintaining accurate records.
Qualifications, Role Specific Knowledge, and Experience
 Graduate in any discipline. Own conveyance is a must. Relevant work experience of 3-8 years in Logistics or SCM within IT/AV industry preferred. Should be result oriented and deadlines driven. Familiarity with transport companies, waybills, and shipment tracking. Understand customer requirements and demand trends. Highly proficient in using MS-Office applications like excel, Word and power-point and SAP applications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
