Job Overview
Spandana Hospital is seeking a Mid-Level Dialysis Technician for a full-time position based in Bangalore. The candidate should have a minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. The role involves working alongside a dedicated team of medical professionals to provide exceptional care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience of 4-6 years as a Dialysis Technician in a healthcare setting.
- Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with hemodialysis machines (Mandatory skill).
- Skill in patient monitoring, ensuring comfort and safety during the dialysis process (Mandatory skill).
- Understanding of water treatment systems used in dialysis (Mandatory skill).
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with patients and the healthcare team.
- Strong attention to detail to accurately follow physicians' instructions and maintain equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high standards of patient care.
- Professional certification from a recognized dialysis technician program is preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Operate dialysis equipment and ensure proper functioning throughout treatment sessions.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to changes during dialysis.
- Prepare and sterilize equipment, including dialyzers and hemodialysis machines.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records of procedures and findings.
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations in the dialysis unit.
- Educate patients and their families on the dialysis process and post-session care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in training and professional development to stay abreast of advancements in dialysis techniques.
