Job Overview
We are seeking a Mid-Level Nephrologist with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience to join our team in Bangalore. This is a Full-Time role within Spandana Hospital, offering an opportunity to provide exceptional nephrology care, contribute to a multidisciplinary team, and work in a state-of-the-art facility focused on quality healthcare delivery.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in patient care with a focus on nephrology cases and delivering high standards of clinical services (Mandatory skill).
 - Comprehensive experience managing Chronic Kidney Disease, including preventive care, assessment, and treatment protocols (Mandatory skill).
 - Proficiency in performing and overseeing Peritoneal Dialysis for acute and chronic renal failure patients (Mandatory skill).
 - Ability to manage hypertension in nephrology patients, using evidence-based best practices adapted for patient-specific needs.
 - Skilled in providing safe and effective hemodialysis, including management of AV fistulas and dialysis complications.
 - Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records to maintain accurate patient documentation and support multidisciplinary communication.
 - Capable of delivering empathetic communication to patients and families, especially regarding chronic disease management and lifestyle modifications.
 - Ability to participate actively in a multidisciplinary, team-based approach to optimize patient outcomes and hospital goals.
 
Roles and Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with kidney disorders and related health issues to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
 - Develop individualized care plans and coordinate the treatment of acute and chronic kidney disease patients, including both in-patient and out-patient settings.
 - Perform and supervise peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis, and other related procedures, ensuring patient safety and treatment efficacy at all times.
 - Monitor and manage complications associated with kidney diseases and dialysis while providing timely interventions and escalations as required.
 - Utilize Electronic Medical Records for comprehensive charting, patient monitoring, and maintaining compliance with hospital documentation standards.
 - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, technicians, and other specialists to deliver holistic patient care.
 - Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, preventive care, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term health.
 - Participate in hospital initiatives for continuous learning, quality improvement, and maintaining best clinical practices in nephrology care.
