Position Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist with a strong background in engineering recruitment for US-based clients. This position is responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates for technical roles in the US. The role requires someone with proven experience in recruiting for engineering positions, particularly in the tech and IT industries
.Key Responsibilities:
Full-Cycle Recruiting:
Source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of engineering positions based in the US.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and job specifications.
- Manage the recruitment pipeline from sourcing to offer stage.
Handle negotiations and extend offers to selected candidates.
Candidate Sourcing & Networking:
Use various sourcing methods such as LinkedIn, job boards, and employee referrals to identify top talent.
- Build and maintain a network of high-quality candidates within the engineering space.
Screen resumes and applications to identify the most qualified candidates.
Client and Stakeholder Management:
Work closely with hiring managers and team leads in the US to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
Regularly update stakeholders on the status of open roles, candidate pipeline, and timelines.
Interview Coordination:
Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Conduct preliminary phone interviews, assessing candidates skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.
Facilitate technical assessments and coding challenges as necessary.
Recruitment Process Improvement:
Continuously review and refine the recruitment process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide insights and feedback to improve candidate experience and recruitment strategies.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and recruitment processes.
Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, interview notes, and offer details.
Diversity and Inclusion:
Promote a diverse and inclusive hiring process by identifying a diverse talent pool.
Ensure unbiased hiring practices throughout the recruitment process.
Experience:
2-4 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with a focus on hiring for engineering/technical roles in the US market.
Proven track record in recruiting for a range of engineering positions, including software engineers, data engineers, product engineers, and other technical roles.
Sourcing Skills:
Strong proficiency in using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, ATS systems, and other recruitment tools.
Experience with Boolean search techniques and other creative sourcing strategies.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to engage with candidates effectively and maintain strong relationships.
Cultural Fit:
Understanding of the US job market, particularly the nuances in hiring for tech talent.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand recruitment environment.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience working with US-based clients, especially in the IT and technology industry.
- Familiarity with recruitment tools such as Workday, Greenhouse, or Lever.
- Understanding of the H1B visa process and working with candidates on visa sponsorships (preferred).
