Job Description: HR Intern Talent Acquisition

Location: Chennai. Work from office

Duration: [3 to 6 Months]

Function: Human Resources Talent Acquisition

Reporting To: Talent Acquisition Lead / HR Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic HR Intern to support the Talent Acquisition team. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to end-to-end recruitment processes, candidate engagement, interview coordination, and HR operations, while contributing to ongoing hiring initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing and screening resumes through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and internal databases
  • Support job posting creation and publishing across recruitment platforms
  • Conduct initial candidate screening and shortlisting as per role requirements
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers
  • Maintain and update candidate tracking sheets / ATS accurately
  • Engage with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Support in offer rollouts, documentation, and follow-ups
  • Assist in talent pipeline building for current and future hiring needs
  • Help with HR reports, hiring metrics, and recruitment dashboards
  • Support campus hiring / walk-ins / recruitment drives (if applicable)
  • Adhere to confidentiality, data privacy, and HR policies

  • Basic understanding of recruitment concepts
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Willingness to learn and take ownership
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality

Educational Qualification

  • Pursuing or recently completed MBA / PGDM in HR, or
  • Graduate / Postgraduate with interest in Human Resources
