Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Product Costing Executive / Cost Analyst with at least 5 years of experience in product costing and data sheet preparation. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and excellent documentation abilities. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate cost estimation, supporting pricing decisions, and contributing to cost optimization strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed costing analysis for products, materials, and production processes.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate costing sheets and product data sheets.
  • Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs, suggesting cost optimization strategies.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and design teams for accurate cost inputs.
  • Monitor cost variances and assist in pricing strategy decisions based on real-time data.
  • Maintain comprehensive cost records and generate regular reports and dashboards for management.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for cost modeling, data analysis, and reporting (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP, charts, etc.).
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and margin analysis as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in costing, pricing, or related financial roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Experience preparing and managing costing documentation and data sheets.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
