We're looking for someone who loves to draw and enjoys bringing creative ideas to life. If you're excited about turning hard-to-understand concepts into fun, visual illustrations, this role is for you.

You'll work on a wide range of creative projects including books, branding assets, social media graphics, illustrated maps, and educational content.

We'll provide creative direction and training, so you're never on your own. We want to help you grow your skills while you help us build something exciting. We're not focused on your degrees or certificates, what matters to us is your ability to learn, adapt, and create.

As a trainee, you'll wear multiple hats and will be expected to work quickly, take initiative, and deliver results. Key Responsibilities

  • Create engaging illustrations for variety of purposes
  • Design characters, layouts, and branded visuals
  • Adapt styles for different audiences and formats
  • Take feedback and improve designs
  • Assist with typography, colors, and layout formatting
  • Share ideas during creative brainstorming
  • Deliver high-quality work on time
  • Stay organized with files and design standards
  • Be flexible and support various creative tasks

Key skills

  • Basic knowledge of designing for print and digital media
  • Must be able to draw digitally (tablet or iPad + stylus preferred)
  • Strong sense of color, layout, and composition
  • Ability to analyze inspiration/reference styles and create artwork that matches the desired tone
  • Working knowledge of key design tools such as Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, CorelDRAW, and Canva.
  • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality
  • Open to feedback and iteration; able to revise and improve based on direction
  • Strong attention to visual consistency, file organization, and formatting standards
  • A positive, collaborative attitude and a willingness to help with various creative tasks as needed
