Role Overview

We're on the hunt for a
Senior Illustration Artist
who brings a strong artistic voice, refined execution, and a strategic mindset to every project. In this role, you'll lead illustration work across client projects and internal initiatives — crafting visuals that are not only beautiful but also communicate clearly and creatively. You'll collaborate with designers, brand strategists, and clients to shape visual narratives that elevate our work and push creative boundaries.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and create high-quality illustrations for branding, campaigns, digital content, and more
  • Lead illustration direction for projects from ideation through to execution
  • Work closely with art directors, graphic designers, and motion designers to ensure cohesive visual storytelling
  • Maintain and evolve illustration styles across various brand identities and platforms
  • Present concepts to internal teams and clients with clarity and confidence
  • Mentor junior artists and contribute to developing WINGS Design's illustration standards and style guidelines
  • Stay current with design trends, tools, and illustration techniques
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently in a fast-paced, creative environment

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in illustration or a related creative field
  • A standout portfolio showcasing a wide range of styles, techniques, and commercial projects
  • Expertise in tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, or similar
  • Strong understanding of composition, color theory, and visual storytelling
  • Ability to adapt illustration style to suit different brand aesthetics
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management skills
  • Experience in working with brand and creative teams, ideally within an agency or fast-paced environment
  • Bonus: animation or motion graphics experience
