Key Account Management Specialist

The role would involve building long-term relationships & partnerships with key customers and manage key accounts with global innovators especially in Europe and North America. The role would involve market intelligence, business development & global program management and interface with both internal and external key stakeholders
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieving Sales Volume & Revenue Goals by Business Development and Account management
- Business Development
- Develop/manage key accounts, build strong customer relationships and increase wallet share with customers
- Identify new customers and develop contacts / relationships
- Consistent evaluation of market conditions & trends and monitor competitor's activity – products, pricing, marketing techniques.
- Carry out primary & secondary research for identitfying new opportunities for custom manufacturing
- Lead cost negotiations and manage contractual agreements with global customers.
Review projects with Program Managers and site teams and highlight risks or opportunities
8.Maintain high level of compliance in accordance with the organizational standard and policies.
Key Skills & Attributes
· Proven leader with expertise in Business Development & Sales in Chemicals industry (Agrochemicals, Specialty Chemicals)
· Strategic and techno commercial acumen
· Relationship building skills especially with global business partners & Key customers
· Abreast with competition, customers, industry & market trends
· Customer Focus & Networking Skills
· High accountability & solution oriented
· Good communication and presentation skills
· Self driven and high energy, hands on approach
· Process Driven
Qualification & Experience
- Chemical Engineer or Bachelor's/ MSc. / PhD in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering with MBA degree is a preferred choice
- 10-12 years of experience in the Agrochemicals, or Speciality Chemical sector with demonstrated track record of sales in CDMO to global clients
- Experience in the international markets and demonstrated ability in managing global accounts
