Our mission is to bring real stories, culture, emotions, and community back into sports.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Content Lead will be the creative backbone of the company.

This role requires someone who can ideate, script, produce, and deliver high-impact sports content that appeals to audiences across YouTube, Instagram, and OTT.

You will lead content strategy, oversee production quality, and work closely with the Founder to bring powerful sports narratives to life.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Creative Strategy & Planning

  • Develop the overall content strategy for the brand
  • Create content calendars for short-form, mid-form, and long-form content
  • Conceptualize new series like:
  • "Journey Of…" episodes
  • Athlete profile films
  • Sports explainers
  • Conversational shows
  • Event-based storytelling
  • Identify trending sports narratives and opportunities

2. Pre-Production

  • Script original short and mid-length videos
  • Build story structure, mood boards, and shot lists
  • Coordinate with Founder on creative direction
  • Scout locations when needed
  • Work with DOP/editors to plan shoots

3. Production Management

  • Lead shoots for athlete interviews, short stories, and events
  • Direct talent on camera (athletes, guests, hosts)
  • Ensure high-quality audio, visuals, and lighting
  • Capture BTS + reels during events
  • Manage a small content team (editor, camera team, freelancers)

4. Post-Production

  • Oversee editors to ensure timely delivery
  • Finalise cuts, sound, graphics, subtitles
  • Maintain consistent brand identity across videos
  • Approve final exports for all platforms

5. Events + Content Integration

  • Produce content around sports IPs such as:
  • Mixed Cricket League
  • Chess on the Beach
  • Monsoon Football Cup
  • Urban Obstacle Warrior
  • Create aftermovies, highlights, teaser cuts, and reels
  • Drive narrative storytelling that brings events alive

6. Digital & Social Media

  • Build an engaging narrative style for:
  • Instagram
  • YouTube
  • Facebook
  • X
  • Track analytics and continuously improve performance
  • Recommend new content formats and strategies

7. Team Leadership

  • Manage editors, camera crew, freelance DOPs
  • Build a small in-house content team
  • Maintain timelines and quality
  • Ensure creative excellence across all output

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSMust-Have Skills

  • Strong storytelling ability
  • Excellent scripting and writing skills
  • Proven experience in producing video content
  • Creative direction across short + mid-form video
  • Ability to manage end-to-end video projects
  • Knowledge of production basics (lights, camera, audio)
  • Good understanding of sports culture in India
  • Experience directing talent on camera
  • Ability to work fast in a startup-style environment

Bonus Skills

  • Experience producing sports content
  • Familiarity with documentaries / docuseries
  • Basic editing knowledge (Premiere Pro, FCP, CapCut)
  • Ability to host or appear on camera (optional)
  • Network in sports, content, or creator space

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3–6 years in video content creation or digital media
  • Past experience in sports, entertainment, youth content, or event content
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Media, Journalism, Film, Communication (preferred but not mandatory)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60, ₹75,000.00 per year
