Location: Mumbai (Hybrid + Travel for shoots/events)

Experience Required: 3–5 years

Preferred Background: Former athlete OR currently active sportsperson (any discipline). An athlete with knowledge of sports - need not have played professional level/s.

Industry: Sports Media, Events, Digital Content

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a dynamic Sports Anchor & Host who will become the face of our sports storytelling platform. A person who can not only host interviews and panel discussions, but also understand the mindset, journey, and emotions of athletes — because they have lived it themselves.

This role is perfect for:

• Athletes who can host
• Hosts who are athletes
• Fitness/sports creators who are natural communicators

The anchor will interview athletes, host our signature event IPs, lead talk shows, and appear across all our video content.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. On-Camera Hosting

• Host interviews with athletes, coaches, sports experts
• Lead conversational shows, talk-format series, and panel discussions
• Present short-form and mid-form sports segments
• Create engaging intros/outros for episodes
• Deliver powerful voiceovers when required

2. Athlete-Centric Storytelling

• Bring out emotional, personal, and inspiring stories from athletes
• Ask intelligent, insightful questions based on sports realities
• Build comfort and rapport with athletes during shoots
• Understand the psychology and grind of sports to create authentic conversations

3. Event Hosting

Anchor our live event IPs such as:

• Mixed Cricket Premier League
• Midnight Football League
• Chess on the Beach
• Sports Conclaves & Panels
• Youth and Corporate sporting events
• Community non-athletic games in public places

Duties include:

• Engaging the crowd
• Running live panels
• Player introductions
• Commentary (optional but preferred)
• Live interactions and stage presence

4. Content Creation

• Collaborate with the Content Lead to ideate show formats
• Shoot short-form monologues, reactions, and sports insights
• Participate in challenges, fun sports segments, and social content
• Suggest athlete guests, stories, and narrative angles

5. Pre-Production & Research

• Research athletes before interviews
• Prepare question lists and show scripts
• Understand the format and tone of each content segment
• Attend rehearsals and creative discussions

6. Brand Collaboration

• Feature in branded content integrations
• Host sponsor segments
• Represent the brand at media interactions

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Must-Have

• Outstanding on-camera presence
• Confident, engaging communication
• Strong grasp over English + Hindi (Marathi optional but major plus)
• Ability to connect naturally with athletes
• Prior experience as a host OR natural ability to host
• Athletic background (professional, semi-professional, state/district-level, or strong fitness discipline)
• Ability to think on feet and improvise
• Comfortable with travel & flexible shoot timings

Bonus Skills

• Commentary skills
• Knowledge of Indian sports ecosystem
• Social media influence (bonus but not required)
• Ability to host in multiple languages
• Experience in podcasting, vlogging, or panel moderation
• Appealing camera confidence + photogenic personality

QUALIFICATION

Background can include:

• Former or current athlete (any sport)
• TV presenter
• RJ / VJ
• Sports creator / influencer
• Media & communication graduate
• Theatre/acting background (if blended with sports experience)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹50,000.00 per month
