Role Overview

As a
Business Continuity Manager
, you will ensure operational resilience across DDC's global locations.

You will lead the development, testing, and maintenance of
Business Continuity Plans (BCPs)
, perform
Business Impact Assessments (BIAs)
, coordinate drills, and support
ISO 22301
compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct
    Business Impact Assessments (BIAs)
    for field locations
  • Develop, review, and update
    Business Continuity Plans (BCPs)
    with local teams
  • Coordinate
    continuity drills, scenario testing
    , and post-exercise reviews
  • Maintain recovery strategies for
    people, systems, vendors, and facilities
  • Train teams on
    BCMS awareness and emergency response procedures
  • Serve as
    on-ground coordinator
    during incidents or BCP activations
  • Track
    readiness KPIs
    , gaps, and improvement actions
  • Maintain
    audit-ready ISO 22301 documentation
  • Liaise with
    IT, HR, Admin
    , and other departments to ensure continuity dependencies are mapped
  • Conduct
    third-party risk assessments
    for critical vendors
  • Develop
    emergency communication protocols
    for disruptions
  • Monitor
    regulatory updates
    related to business continuity
  • Support
    crisis management planning
    and incident response frameworks
  • Benchmark practices against
    industry standards
    and maintain
    continuity resource inventories


Governance, Compliance & Risk

  • Collaborate with the
    Corporate Office
    to define and maintain governance processes and policies
  • Ensure compliance with
    laws, regulations, and internal standards
  • Identify, assess, and escalate
    risks
    to senior management as appropriate


Professional Development

  • Engage in
    regular performance and development discussions
    with your manager
  • Proactively seek opportunities to improve and expand knowledge
  • Embody and promote
    DDC's culture and values
    in all aspects of work


Mandatory Skillset

  • Proven experience conducting
    BIAs and writing BCPs
  • In-depth knowledge of
    ISO 22301
    and the BCM lifecycle
  • Experience planning and executing
    simulation drills
  • Excellent
    coordination, documentation, and communication
    skills

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's
    in Operations, Emergency Management, or Business
  • ISO 22301 Lead Implementer
    (preferred)
  • 3–6 years
    of experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, or Emergency Response
  • Experience in
    multi-location
    or
    crisis-prone
    environments
  • Exposure to
    ISO audits and certification
    processes
