Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Backend

Experience:

7+ years of overall software engineering experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python.
  • Build and manage data pipelines and ensure efficient data engineering practices.
  • Develop and integrate APIs (REST and SOAP) for system and third-party connectivity.
  • Work extensively with EDI X12, JSON, and XML file types for integrations.
  • Design, manage, and optimize PostgreSQL databases for high performance.
  • Deploy and manage infrastructure using AWS and Terraform.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality backend solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to modern development practices, including containerization and version control.
  • Work on backend modules aligned with logistics and supply chain domain processes.

Technical Skills:

  • Programming: Python
  • Database: PostgreSQL
  • Cloud/DevOps: AWS, Terraform, GitLab (CI/CD), Docker, Kubernetes
  • Integration: REST, SOAP, EDI X12, JSON, XML
  • Data Engineering: Data pipelines, ETL processes
  • Reporting Tools: Power BI or equivalent visualization tools
  • Version Control: Git
