REPAIR & MAINTENANCE HEAD

Role & Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute a comprehensive repair and maintenance strategy aligned with the organization's objectives.

· Lead, motivate, and manage a team of technicians, mechanics, and maintenance personnel.

· Set performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide training and development opportunities.

· Design and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life span.

· Ensure adherence to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.

· Develop and manage the repair and maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.

· Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize resource allocation.

· Develop and update documentation processes, including maintenance schedules, equipment manuals, and repair histories.

· Collaborate with external vendors, suppliers, and contractors for equipment and service procurement.

· Negotiate contracts, monitor service quality, and manage vendor relationships.

· Emergency Response:

· Develop and implement emergency response plans for equipment breakdowns or facility issues.

· Lead troubleshooting efforts and ensure timely resolution of maintenance-related problems.

· Stay informed about safety regulations, environmental requirements, and industry standards.

· Ensure all repair and maintenance activities comply with legal and regulatory standards.

· Identify and implement new technologies and tools to enhance the efficiency of repair and maintenance processes.

Qualifications & Expertise:

· Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing repair and maintenance operations.

· Strong technical knowledge of equipment, machinery, and facilities maintenance.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Familiarity with budget management and cost control.

· Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally within an organization.

· Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
