Manager Metallurgical Quality assurance

Role & responsibilities

1) Review of Customer drawing & standards for Material specifications

2) Checking & validation on feasibility of properties / performance based on the existing capability / capacity available in house (BFL)

3) Case to case basis initiate activities calling for actual testing before committing on performance

4) Ability to initiate innovative product development.

5) Analyse new components, materials and technologies to evaluate functionalities for all products

6) Independently facilitates forging validations & trials

7) Shall be conversant with Micro alloyed Steel portfolio

8) Document records for all process/ project proposals and associated activities.

9) Check & Validate PPAP and Control Plans for all NPDs

10) Give guidance to the team on technical compliance

Experience on Quality Systems IATF, ISO etc

Preferred candidate profile

  • In depth knowledge on Metallurgy, forging, heat treatment, product testing and performance mapping
  • Knowledge of PPAP, FMEA etc

Experience on ISO/ IATF & or allied systems
