Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

The role involves overseeing the entire defect lifecycle, from initiation to resolution. This includes leading daily triage calls with stakeholders from various teams, ensuring clear minutes and actions are documented, and managing escalations when necessary.


Maintaining the integrity of the defect database is also a critical aspect of this position. This involves adhering to established guidelines and processes for updating defect statuses. In addition, developing weekly defect status reports and trending reports is essential to identify areas for improvement.


The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities for process and tool improvements to enhance defect prevention and resolution times. This will involve working closely with the QA Testing and Release Change Management teams to maintain awareness of new code changes, ongoing automation test results, and new defects.

Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to lead and steer defect management meetings
  • Good working knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
  • Experience working in high-pressure environments with strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Technical understanding of End-to-End TELECOM products or OSS/BSS architecture
