Chief Quality Assurance Director

As a leading quality control professional, you will oversee the quality assurance and control function for aluminium die casting operations.
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality systems, procedures, and documentation to ensure operational excellence.
- Drive supplier quality management, customer complaint resolution, and in-house quality improvement initiatives.
- Handle critical tasks such as PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, Control Plans, and audits to guarantee product integrity.
- Monitor and reduce internal & customer rejections (casting & machining stage) through data-driven analysis and process enhancements.
- Coordinate with design, tooling, production, and NPD teams for new product development projects.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Metallurgy/Production Engineering is required.
- At least 10 years of experience in aluminium die casting (GDC / LPDC) is essential.
- Strong knowledge of metallurgical properties, defect analysis, and casting process controls is necessary.
- Familiarity with NDT, CMM, Spectrometer, X-ray testing, and other quality inspection tools is beneficial.
- Experience in dealing with automotive OEMs and Tier-1 customers is preferred.
You should possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. You must also be able to conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure effective CAPA implementation. Additionally, you will lead customer audits, visits, and approvals while mentoring and developing the QA team.
