Job Description:

Job summary:
We are seeking a Production Planning Engineer to organise production according to demand
and quality standards. He / She will be the one to ensure our goods are produced on time for
distribution in a profitable manner.
He / She should be well-versed in production procedures and ways to optimize them. He / She
must be results-driven with great problem-solving skills. Advanced communication and
computer skills are very useful for their role.
The goal is to ensure the smooth and cost-efficient flow of our production operations.
Duties and essential job functions:
1. Production Planning supervision, scheduling for production, preparing production
schedules for manufacturing in co-ordination with Production Departments
2. Making sure each operation meets shipping dates according to sales forecasts or
customer orders
3. Analyzing production specifications and plant capacity data and perform mathematical
calculations to determine manufacturing processes
4. Check the availability of the finished products and reply to the query to our branch
office
5. Planning and scheduling workflow for each production department and operation
according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times
6. Determining the status of assigned projects, expedite operation that delay schedules
and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
7. Preparing various production reports for the Management
8. Analyze and interpret Bill of Material to determine the content & plan manageable work
elements
9. Monitor, analyze & report performance to schedule of production and production
support activities, utilizing information derived from material and production control
systems
10. Ensure all parties are fully aware of production status and that work planning and
execution objectives are integrated & communicated
11. Coordinates and interfaces with Purchase Department for the placement of purchase
orders and/or delivery of material on time to meet predetermined production and
delivery deadlines
12. Coordinate the resolution of complaints received from customers and co-ordinate to
find the reason and convey the same to concerned Production Department for future
reference
13. Initiate replacement orders for lost damaged or discrepant material
14. Resolves problems utilizing acquired knowledge & analytical abilities

Qualifications required:
Bachelor of Engineering / Diploma in Engineering
Proficient in English, good communication skills and Computer savvy along with knowledge of
SAP operation of PP and MM Module
Preferred:
Experience and knowledge of glass or similar industry
