Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, write, and edit high-quality articles, features, and trend-based stories for fashion and apparel publications.
  • Develop content that aligns with the magazine's editorial tone, style, and audience.
  • Collaborate with editors and the creative team to conceptualize ideas, story angles, and themes.
  • Conduct interviews with designers, industry experts, and brand representatives when required.
  • Stay updated with fashion trends, trade shows, sustainability movements, and technological innovations in apparel and textiles.
  • Ensure timely submission of assignments while maintaining editorial accuracy and brand consistency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Fashion Communication, English, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Proven experience in editorial writing for fashion, lifestyle, or trade magazines.
  • Strong command over written English, with impeccable grammar and structure.
  • Ability to write across formats - features, reports, interviews, and opinion pieces.
  • Understanding of the fashion and apparel ecosystem (retail, manufacturing, sustainability, trends).
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
