Overview
As an intern, you will provide critical support to the team in assisting the client and its project partners engaged in delivering a multi-stakeholder maternal healthcare project spread across states. This will allow you to gain meaningful exposure to public health strategy, stakeholder management, and the operational realities of driving large-scale social change. This is a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a high-impact project and develop core consulting skills.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Project Management & Operational Support:
Provide comprehensive support to the client's Program Enablement Unit (PEU) towards meeting project deliverables
Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings, workshops, and calls with internal teams and external stakeholders (e.g. leading professional organisations, healthcare providers, etc.)
Prepare clear meeting agendas, take detailed minutes, and diligently track action items to ensure project momentum.
Help maintain and organise project documentation, databases, and trackers.
2. Strategic and Analytical Contribution:
Support the team in developing high-quality presentations, concept notes, and strategic frameworks.
Conduct secondary research on topics and analyse existing program data to inform project strategy
Assist in synthesising research findings and data into concise summaries, insights, and talking points.
Actively participate in and contribute to team brainstorming and problem-solving sessions, offering fresh perspectives on complex challenges.
3. Stakeholder Engagement Support:
Assist in preparing materials for engagements with key stakeholders, including senior client leadership, experts and implementation partners.
Support in drafting professional communications, official emails, and follow-ups to maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
Who We're Looking For:
Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Core Skills:
Attention to detail.
Excellent analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Exceptional organisational skills.
Personal Qualities:
A genuine passion for the social sector and a deep interest in public health or healthcare.
Diligent, hardworking and open to feedback
A proactive, self-starting attitude with a strong sense of ownership.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Maturity and professionalism to interact with senior stakeholders.
