Investment Advisory Financial Modelling Specialist
As an Investment Advisory Financial Modelling Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting business planning, investment analysis, and strategic decision-making.
- Develop dynamic financial models to assess feasibility and financial impact of potential business opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments.
- Design forecasting models to predict revenue, costs, profitability, and cash flow trends.
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against projections and identify key drivers.
- Perform sensitivity and scenario analysis to evaluate risks and opportunities under different economic conditions.
- Collaborate with finance, strategy, and operations teams to ensure the reliability of financial models.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership, supporting data-driven strategic decisions.
- Ensure financial models adhere to industry standards and best practices.
Requirements:
- Two years + business experience, ideally in a consulting environment.
- Strong financial modelling skills, including experience with valuation, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced level) and experience with financial modeling software/tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and corporate finance concepts.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Commerce or Finance, preferably with a background in the Engineering or Infrastructure sectors.
