Role Description

We are seeking a hands-on
Business Development Manager
with at least
3 years of experience
in selling IT / software / digital services. The right person will generate leads, close new deals, grow revenue, maintain and expand relationships with clients, and represent Winger IT in the market.

Qualification and skills:

  • Minimum
    3 years
    experience in business development / sales in software / IT services / hosting / AI & ML etc.
  • Proven track record of closing software/IT service contracts, preferably with both corporate & government clients
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation skills
  • Ability to understand technical services (software dev, hosting, AI/ML) well enough to propose solutions and understand cost/time tradeoffs
  • Good network in the industry & ability to build one if needed
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office / Google Workspace
  • Highly motivated, result oriented, good at managing time, multitasking

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, pursue and close new business opportunities for our services (software, web, hosting, AI/ML)
  • Generate leads via cold outreach, networking, referrals, online channels
  • Build and nurture relationships with prospective clients (corporate / government)
  • Prepare proposals, RFP responses, cost estimates, technical + commercial pitches
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, operations, design) to scope solutions that meet client needs
  • Maintain sales pipelines in CRM, follow up and track progress
  • Meet / exceed monthly, quarterly, annual sales targets
  • Conduct market research: competitor analysis, industry trends, pricing, threats, opportunities
  • Attend relevant conferences / seminars / networking events to expand reach and visibility
  • Provide feedback from clients / market to internal teams to improve service offerings
