Overview:
Manager – Technology Strategy – Commercial and Consumer supports the Technology Strategy team in driving PepsiCo's technology vision and priorities, with a specific focus on how emerging technologies can enhance consumer engagement and commercial operations.
This role helps analyze consumer-facing technology trends and commercial capabilities — including digital marketing, data-driven personalization, AI-powered insights, eCommerce enablement, and sales technologies. The Senior Analyst will translate insights into clear analyses and presentations that help connect technology investments to PepsiCo's commercial growth and competitive advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis on emerging technologies that impact consumer and commercial operations, such as AI-driven marketing, digital commerce, customer data platforms, and advanced analytics for sales.
- Support the development and refinement of the consumer & commercial technology strategy framework and related deliverables.
- Analyze spending on consumer and commercial technologies, benchmark against peers, and identify areas for optimization or innovation.
- Assist in developing strategic recommendations that guide investment decisions for digital marketing, personalization, commerce platforms, and customer engagement.
- Contribute to the creation of roadmaps, KPIs, and progress tracking for key initiatives that impact revenue growth and consumer experience.
- Coordinate with teams across Marketing, Sales, Digital Commerce, Technology, and Finance to gather inputs, align on goals, and share updates.
- Help prepare reports, presentations, and executive updates for senior commercial and marketing leaders.
- Support organizing and facilitating vendor workshops, pilots, or external forums to understand new solutions in the consumer and commercial technology landscape.
- Contribute to internal thought leadership by synthesizing insights on trends, case studies, and best practices that can be scaled across brands and markets
Qualifications:
- Experience between 6-11 years
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to break down commercial and consumer challenges and develop data-backed insights.
- Commercial Acumen: Basic understanding of how marketing, sales, and eCommerce operations drive consumer engagement and revenue growth.
- Communication: Clear written and verbal communication; able to build compelling presentations for a commercial audience.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with Marketing, Sales, Digital, and Technology stakeholders.
- Curiosity: Interest in consumer trends and emerging technologies in digital marketing, personalization, and commerce.
- Organization: Strong project coordination and prioritization skills
- Adaptability: Comfortable pivoting priorities in a fast-changing digital landscape
- Technical Awareness: Familiarity with tools like marketing platforms (e.g., CRM, CDP), eCommerce solutions, or analytics tools is a plus
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in digital strategy, marketing technology, commercial operations, or consulting with exposure to consumer-facing solutions.
