Role Overview
Whispering Woods Resort is looking for a
professional and guest-focused Front Desk Receptionist
to join our hospitality team. The role involves managing guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring smooth front desk operations, monitoring room readiness, and coordinating with Housekeeping to deliver an excellent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
Front Office & Guest Handling
• Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage daily check-in and check-out processes accurately and efficiently.
• Handle guest queries, feedback, and requests with courtesy and professionalism.
• Assist with reservations, bookings, and guest communication across multiple channels.
Room Readiness & Hygiene Monitoring
• Conduct periodic checks to ensure guest rooms are clean, prepared, and meet quality standards.
• Report maintenance or service issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Support Housekeeping in maintaining consistency in room standards.
Coordination with Housekeeping
• Work closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor to manage room allocations and turnovers.
• Ensure smooth communication between Front Office and Housekeeping teams.
• Track schedules and updates to guarantee timely room readiness for guests.
Daily Operations
• Support day-to-day resort operations in alignment with management directives.
• Maintain compliance with service protocols and operating procedures.
• Ensure accurate front desk records, logs, and reports.
• Uphold the resort's brand image and commitment to service excellence.

Requirements
• Previous
experience in the hospitality or resort industry
is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills in
English, Hindi, and Marathi
.
• Professional, approachable, and guest-oriented personality.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays in line with hospitality schedules.
• Familiarity with
Property Management Systems (PMS)
or front office software is an advantage.
