Job Summary:

The
Chef de Partie – Bakery
is responsible for managing the daily operations of the bakery section, ensuring all bakery products — including breads, pastries, and desserts — are prepared, baked, and presented to the highest standards. This role requires technical expertise, creativity, and leadership to supervise and guide junior bakers while maintaining consistency, quality, and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the bakery section operations during production and service.
• Prepare, bake, and finish bakery items such as breads, viennoiseries, rolls, doughs, and other specialty products according to recipes and standards.
• Ensure all mise en place is completed and maintained for daily production.
• Maintain consistent quality, taste, texture, and presentation of all bakery products.
• Monitor baking processes, temperatures, and timings to achieve desired results.
• Train, guide, and motivate Commis and Demi Chefs in the bakery section.
• Collaborate with the Pastry Chef on new recipes, seasonal menus, and special event items.
• Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety procedures (HACCP compliance).
• Control inventory, monitor ingredient usage, and minimize waste.
• Ensure equipment and workstations are clean, properly maintained, and in good working order.
• Communicate effectively with other sections and kitchen leadership to ensure smooth operations.
