OFSAA Technical Consultant

Job Title: Technical Consultant (OFSAA)

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 2-5 years

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated technical consultant with 2-5 years of experience in implementation / support of Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)/ OGL modules. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting, maintaining, and optimizing our OFSAA implementation, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for system enhancements and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business and IT teams to implement, maintain, and troubleshoot the OFSAA solution.
  • Develop, and document SQL queries for data extraction and execution of data sanity checks within the OFSAA framework.
  • Execute Linux commands for file movement and server management including accessibility checks.
  • Participate in the design and development of data models, ETL processes, and reporting solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Management of Python based databases / solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • SQL Expertise: Strong SQL skills for querying, data extraction, transformation, and performance tuning.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, especially in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Additional Tools: Experience with Python and Linux is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to financial services domain or risk management solutions.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance and financial reporting requirements.

Educational Requirements:

  • B-Tech in Computer science
  • Relevant certifications in PLSQL, Oracle, Linux, Python or OFSAA would be an added advantage.
