Cyber culture analyst: (Data analyst working in Cybersecurity projects)

  • Is highly skilled in Excel, including using both formulas and ideally VBA language
  • Is confident in all aspects of Power BI:

o  Cleansing and verifying data

o  Transformation of data

o  Building maps and relationships between datasets

o  DAX language for data computations

o  Ensuring data refreshes are performed in a consistent and reliable manner

o  Construction of flexible dashboards to meet changing business requirements

  • Can identify and capture data requirements to meet evolving business reporting needs
  • Can gather and interpret data from a broad range of sources and translate this into actionable insights useful to the Cyber Culture team.
  • Has a high attention to detail and drive to ensure data integrity - the candidate will be skilled in validating and verifying data and reports produced
  • Has broad experience presenting data clearly and concisely, using storytelling and similar techniques, to engage a variety of audiences to build understanding

o  It is critical the candidate communicates clearly, and can be flexible in communication style to meet a variety of audiences' needs

  • Has a high level of skill in PowerPoint - both in connecting PowerPoint to Power BI outputs, and designing and presenting data in consumable, engaging presentation formats
  • Has a strong background in producing actionable reports in a variety of formats
  • Is experienced in Visio or similar to document data processes (as well as other repeatable processes) created or discovered
  • Is a self-starter who can work at pace, whilst remaining patient and measured in an environment that is constantly changing, and where requirements/tasks are not always able to be fully defined prior to taking action
