Job Description:

We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Cyber Security Analyst
to join our growing technology team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of protecting our organization's digital infrastructure — monitoring systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and responding to threats in real time.

The ideal candidate is passionate about cyber defense, thrives in fast-paced environments, and understands the evolving threat landscape of today's digital world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor network traffic and security alerts to detect and respond to potential threats.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
  • Investigate security breaches and develop incident response strategies.
  • Implement and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection.
  • Conduct regular audits of security policies, standards, and configurations.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to strengthen overall security posture.
  • Stay updated on emerging threats, attack vectors, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of
    network security, encryption, and authentication protocols
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or ELK)
    and vulnerability scanners.
  • Knowledge of
    firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and cloud security tools
    .
  • Familiarity with compliance standards such as
    ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, or SOC 2
    .
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity.
  • Industry certifications such as
    CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM
    .
  • Experience in incident response and forensic analysis.
